Hello, my name is Eva.
I am the chef and owner of Spoondrift Kitchen. I’ve been a personal chef for over ten years, and throughout my time cooking have found a sense of place in local foods.
I think of cooking as telling a story. In my story, family dinner was an integral part of my cultural upbringing and my connection with food. With that spirit, I want my food to invite community and belonging around the table.
About Spoondrift Kitchen
Spoondrift Kitchen embodies a traveling spirit, a relationship with earth’s elements, and a collective gathering around food. Spoondrift is old English for “spray swept from the tops of the waves.” We have a deep love for words that have no modern English equivalent. That coupled with our love for adventuring — Spoondrift emerged as the perfect word to represent our business.
